2026 may have bigger months than February when it comes to new movies and TV shows on the major streamer. But it’s a really solid lineup this month.
Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and the rest of the major streamers aren’t waiting around to drop some great titles.
There are so many great choices that even the Watch With Us team had trouble narrowing it down to the five new movies and TV shows you need to watch in February 2026.
If you love action, drama and romance, then you’ll be very happy this month.
‘Ella McCay’ (2025)
After a long absence from theaters, writer and director James L. Brooks made his comeback in late 2025 with the political comedy Ella McCay. Emma Mackey leads the cast as the title character, a lieutenant governor who suddenly finds herself elevated to governor when her predecessor accepts a Presidential cabinet seat.
This should be a time of celebration for Ella, but her relationship with her husband, Ryan Newell (Jack Lowden), is breaking down, and she’s facing blackmail and a political scandal if the press gets wind of her trysts with Ryan. Ella is also wary about her estranged father, Eddie (Woody Harrelson), and his sudden return to her life. All Ella really wants to do is help people, but her chance may be swallowed whole by the drama in her life.
Ella McCay is now streaming on Disney+.
‘Cross’ (2024 – Present)
After a skip year in 2025, Aldis Hodge is reprising his role as Alex Cross in Cross season 2. Alex is one of the most brilliant investigators on the Washington D.C. police force, and it looks like he’s got his personal life together in the new season. He also has a fresh case, as a billionaire philanthropist (Matthew Lillard) finds himself marked for death.
The serial killer in question is a woman, and she’s not just after one billionaire. She’s after targeting as many as she can hit. Alex is going to have to team up with the FBI to bring this killer down, but even that extra help may not be able to stop her reign of terror.
Cross season 2 will stream on Prime Video on February 6.
‘Eternity’ (2025)
Eternity is a rom-com set in the afterlife that really puts the old “until death do us part” thing to the test. In life, Larry Cutler (Miles Teller) and Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) had decades together as man and wife. However, Joan’s first husband, Luke (Callum Turner), was killed during the Korean War, and he’s spent decades in the afterlife waiting to reunite with her.
Apparently, there’s no such thing as throuples in Heaven, and the afterlife has some very strict rules about where people spend their eternity. Joan can only choose to be with one of her husbands, and she’ll have the rare opportunity to try out both versions of her afterlife before settling on one. It looks like there’s going to be heartbreak no matter which man she picks.
Eternity will stream on Apple TV on February 13.
‘The Night Agent’ (2023 – Present)
Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) is back in the third season of Netflix’s hit action series The Night Agent. And it never seems to get any easier for Peter now that he’s a full-fledged agent. Would you believe there’s yet another “dangerous conspiracy at the heart of the White House” this season? At this point, we’d be surprised if there wasn’t.
Luciane Buchanan is not reprising her role as Rose Larkin this season, as Peter will have a new partner to work with and fresh adversaries to keep him on his toes.
The Night Agent season 3 will stream on Netflix on February 19.
‘Paradise’ (2025 – Present)
The end of the world was just the beginning in Paradise. Hulu’s breakout drama is also a low-key sci-fi show about the survivors of an apocalyptic event who shut themselves off from the outside world and now live in an underground bunker. These people believed that they were among the last survivors of humanity, but they were wrong.
This season, Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) is venturing outside of the bunker in a bid to see if his wife, Teri Rogers-Collins (Enuka Okuma), is still alive. If Xavier makes it back to the bunker, he may be dismayed to see that there’s been a big power shift.
Paradise season 2 will stream on Hulu on February 23.
