Alicia Silverstone delighted fans with a wave of ‘90s nostalgia after sharing a rare behind-the-scenes clip from her video with Aerosmith.
Released in 1994, the iconic band introduced their hit song “Crazy” with a groundbreaking music video that focuses on youthful rebellion, freedom and the thrill of living in the moment.
In an Instagram post, the Clueless star showcased her all-American “It Girl” vibe alongside fellow actress Liv Tyler, who is also Steven Tyler’s daughter.
The video follows the two teenage girls as they ditch school for a carefree road trip in their convertible.
Silverstone’s Instagram update offered fans a candid look back at one of the era’s most unforgettable pop-culture moments.
“Behind the scenes of @aerosmith’s #Crazy with @misslivalittle… feels like a lifetime ago. Such babies. Love seeing my Marty,” she wrote, referring to music video director Marty Callner.
Without a doubt, the comment section was filled with fans reminiscing about the fun and carefree spirit of the ‘90s.
“High school in a nutshell. My friend and I would pretend to be you and Liv,” one wrote.
“Those days were great,” a commenter added.
A fan praised, noting, “The two prettiest women of the 90s.”
“You both were absolutely gorgeous in this video & still are !!!!!” another echoed.
“This is one of the best music videos of all time!!” a follower said.
The same goes for a fan who said, “Still one of the best Rock videos ever!”
Silverstone did two music videos with the band prior to the filming of “Crazy.”
The first was the 1993 song “Cryin’” where she played a rebellious teen navigating love.
The second was “Amazing,” released in 1994. It was a follow-up to “Cryin’,” which showcased the former teen star’s love story with a sense of adventure and self-discovery.
According to the Excess Baggage star, who was 16 at the time, she revealed that she never heard of the band before working with them.
“I didn’t know who Aerosmith was when I got asked to do videos with them,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “I love the band. They are great.”
Silverstone revealed that in one of the music videos, she was wearing her boyfriend’s plaid shirt at the time.
In a separate interview, Liv Tyler, on the other hand, confessed how nervous she was during the filming of “Crazy.”
