Art in the Park will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday July 29 at Rambadt Park, 700 North Park St., Reed City. A limited number of adults will learn the art of basket weaving. Girls will have the opportunity to make a shimmery hair accessory and other weaving projects will be available for all ages.
The Crossroads Picnic Showcase will present free concerts from 7 to 9:15 p.m., Fridays at Rambadt Park, 700 N. Park St., Reed City. The Paul Nelson Band, a two time grammy winning rack and blues band will perform on July 21. The Muskegon River Watershed Assembly is looking for teams to participate in the annual Trash Bash. Sign up is from July 1-31 at mrwa.org/trashbash. Clean up will take place through the month of August.
The Mecosta Osceola Summer Play and Learn program will be held through August 25: Tuesdays, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at the Big Rapids Public Library, 426 S. Michigan Ave., Big Rapids; Wednesdays, 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Bromley Park, 395 W. Main St., Mecosta, and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Morley Community Center, 151 7th St., Morley; Thursdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evart Splash Pad, 317 S. River St., Evart.
