It isn’t Photoshop making Kim Kardashian look different this time.
The reality star looks unrecognizable in a new teaser for “American Horror Story: Delicate,” which features the Kardashian alongside “AHS” veteran Emma Roberts and model Cara Delevingne.
In the 30-second teaser, the SKIMS founder has a ghostly white mug and appears in the frame eerily cradling an infant in her arms while fashioned with platinum hair, feathery lashes and blood-red lips.
While a bone-chilling rendition of the nursery lullaby “Rockabye Baby” plays, a group of dancers dressed in matching white wigs writhes on screen.
The haunting trailer also features shots of an egg falling from a bird’s nest and a spookily illuminated crib rocking back and forth.
The Post has reached out to Kardashian’s reps for further comment.
Kardashian appeared unrecognizable in the new “American Horror Story” trailer.
The reality star appeared among a writhing group of platinum-wigged dancers, holding an infant as a creepy lullaby played.
The 12th season of the FX show will be an adaptation of the upcoming Danielle Valentine novel “Delicate Condition,” which tells the story of fictionalized actress Anna Alcott, who struggles to conceive a child.
Despite failed IVF treatments and a miscarriage, she feels as if the fetus is still alive inside of her — but no one believes her.
The novel is said to be eerily reminiscent of Ira Levin’s book “Rosemary’s Baby,” which spun off a hit horror flick.
According to IMDb, Kardashian, 42, will play Siobhan Walsh, a close pal of Alcott, played by Roberts.
This marks the first time the series, which will also stream on Hulu, will be adapting a book for the small screen.
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the ‘AHS’ family,” co-creator Ryan Murphy in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter in April, around the same time the SKKN By Kim founder announced her involvement.
“Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done,” Murphy added.
The 12th season, coming later this year to FX and Hulu, will be a screen adaptation of the novel “Delicate Condition.”
The choice to cast the reality TV star has been met with backlash online and by former cast members.
Speaking to Variety at the Met Gala in May, Kardashian kept tight-lipped about further details on her big break but admitted she was “so excited.”
“I think it’s really fun to step of your comfort zone and try something new and grow, and I’m so excited for the experience,” she said.
But the choice to cast the “Kardashians” star was met with backlash from fans of “American Horror Story,” which has scored more than 100 Emmy nominations with 16 wins.
Even “AHS” vet and Broadway legend Patti LuPone, 74, slammed the mom-of-four for joining the anthology’s franchise, saying she does, in fact, “give a damn” about Kardashian’s appearance in the upcoming season.
When pressed by host Andy Cohen i an April episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” LuPone, who appeared in two seasons of the thriller, replied: “Excuse me, Kim. What are you doing with your life? Don’t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington!”
The Mrs. Worthington reference was a nod to a Noël Coward song about a momager who puts her unsightly daughter onstage.
“Delicate Condition” follows the horrifying tale of an actress who struggles to get pregnant and is convinced some sinister is growing in her womb.
But this isn’t Kardashian’s first television rodeo.
Aside from her tenure on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and the subsequent “The Kardashians,” the entrepreneur landed a role in the 2008 satire “Disaster Movie,” followed by a gig in “Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor” in 2013 and a cameo in the 2018 movie “Ocean’s Eight.”
She also landed an eyebrow-raising, coveted role as host of a 2021 installment of “Saturday Night Live.”
Murphy, who created “AHS” with Brad Falchuk, was apparently so enamored with the mogul’s stint on the late-night sketch show that he inquired about her interest to play a “unique” role in the upcoming season, slated to premiere later this year.
