Once known for his aggressive approach to the game, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has flipped his image. Foregoing the shoves and elbows that he got used to playing in the paint, Big Diesel has learned to turn the other cheek. As a result, Shaquille O’Neal is now the life of the party with his larger-than-life personality. Despite overcoming his anger issues from the past, Shaq constantly voices his desire to turn to violence.

Shaq is one of the most influential athletes in the world. The four-time champion has over 32 million followers just on Instagram and he often posts stories to educate and entertain his followers. The 2000 NBA MVP never misses a day to keep his growing audience engaged. Many people were caught by one Instagram story that had a message about respecting each other. The video depicted “Grown men” peacefully resolving a case of road rage by showing mutual respect.
It was captioned, “They went from anger to real love, this is what we want to see, great example of what grown looks like, respect.”

It showed a heated conversation between two individuals slowly de-escalating into a friendly chat. Fans could see the power of respect and charm in defusing even the most heated of situations.

Shaquille O’Neal could not help but share this video to preach to his 32 million followers to be respectful and loving. The 7’1 Hall of Famer endorses love and respect in this world full of hatred and violence and tries to instill it in his fans and family. Of course, this was not always the case.

At 7’1 tall, Big Diesel was a towering figure on the basketball court, and he is also known for his imposing stature off of it too. He has done everything from breaking back-boards to man-handling defenders in the paint. Shaq has been a force of nature off the court, too.
