Delta Air Lines is upgrading the premium lounge experience at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the opening of its new Delta One Lounge. The lounge is a step up from the Sky Club lounges and can only be accessed by passengers with Delta One tickets or premium tickets through partner airlines.
Located adjacent to the Delta Sky Club in Terminal 3, this is the second Delta One lounge to open and includes seating for nearly 200 guests. It features artwork from artists around the United States, Philippines, South Africa, Haiti, Japan and more. The lounge is representative of Los Angeles as a global city, and Delta’s part of that is offering a variety of long-haul flights from LAX. Claude Roussel, Delta’s VP for Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience said,
“From JFK to LAX, the opening of this lounge allows us to offer our customers a premium experience from coast to coast. With a menu designed for our most discerning guests and the dedicated, individualized hospitality curated exclusively for our Delta One Lounges, our teams continue to raise the bar on service and elevate what an airport lounge can be.”
A space with a story
The lounge takes inspiration from both the natural and man-made beauty of Los Angeles. The color palette evokes the landscape of Southern California with sunset hues, walnut accents and native plants. There is even a terrace with seating for 26. The crafted details like fluted walnut paneling and oculus-inspired ceilings are a nod to LA’s renowned architectural history, from Modernism to Art Deco.

Food and drinks that surprise and delight
Guests enjoy service-led dining from every seat in the lounge and enjoy a regularly rotated menu featuring dishes like crispy duck tacos, pan-roasted salmon and roasted corn pizza. One feature that’s exclusive to the LAX Delta One Lounge is a year-round sushi bar. The food and drink menu are also reflective of the locations LAX Delta One flies to. There is a rotating selection of location-themed Bento boxes featuring food from destinations like Paris, Tokyo and Boston.
The “Destination Libations” are signature cocktails represented by airport codes. Passengers can enjoy a Mai Tai-inspired cocktail reminiscent of Tahiti (PPT) or a gin drink that pays tribute to London (LHR). Since all food and beverage service in the lounge is designed for attendant service, passengers can sit back, relax and enjoy themselves.

Relaxation and wellness is also on the menu
Don’t miss the opportunity to relax and recharge in the LAX Delta One Lounge wellness room. It features eight private relaxation pods with zero-gravity chairs and full-body massage chairs. The specialty lamp lighting in the area mimics the light colors affecting the body’s circadian rhythms, which helps your body get acclimated to the time zone to which you will be flying.

Delta One: LAX and beyond
Delta is the number one global carrier in LAX and offers nearly 160 peak-day departures to nearly 60 domestic and international locations. The choice to open a Delta One Lounge here is reflective of that. In addition to international destinations, travelers can look forward to daily flights to domestic resort destinations like Bozeman (BZN) and Vail (EGE), plus a new Saturday service to Sun Valley.
According to Delta spokesperson Catherine Morrow, passengers can look forward to more Delta One Lounges opening in the future. The lounge in Boston (BOS) is scheduled to open later this year and plans are in the works for one at Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) in the summer of 2025.
