Reacher’s spinoff series has confirmed five of its leading stars. Based on the world of Jack Reacher established in the Lee Chlid novels, Reacher is a Prime Video series that began in 2022. Now, the series is currently in season 3, with episodes hitting Prime Video weekly on Thursdays. Among the cast members is Maria Sten, who plays the role of Frances Neagley. Neagley has been a fan-favorite character in Reacher and in September 2024, it was announced that she would be getting her own spinoff series.
Per Variety, the Neagley-based series has added five cast members. Those cast include Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, Adeline Rudolph, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman. In addition to these casting announcements, the source also confirmed that the official title for the Reacher spinoff series will be Neagley. Holt has been tapped to play Detective Hudson Riley, Jones will play Keno, Rudolph will play Renee, Del Negro will step in for Pierce Woodrow, and Herriman will play Lawrence Cole. The official logline states the following:
“Frances Neagley is a private investigator in Chicago. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”

Though the cast members and character names are a welcome reveal for Neagley, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the show. Unlike the three seasons of Reacher, Neagley will not directly adapt any of Child’s original novels. As such, the identities of these new characters remain completely unknown until more information is revealed. The logline keeps things vague enough that characters such as Lawrence Cole and Pierce Woodrow really could be friend, enemy, or anything in between.
The update also confirmed that Neagley is currently in production, but did not state how its roll out with align (or not) with Reacher season 4’s release. The hope would be that, whenever it eventually comes out, it can give audiences a pretty consistent streamer of Reacher-related content year over year, adding to the world and its main characters. The series is co-created by Reacher’s Nick Santora along with Nicholas Wootton, creating a fresh perspective alongside a seasoned series creator.

The Cast Boasts Unique Backgrounds
In terms of the cast members themselves, the Neagley team boasts a variety of backgrounds. Holt appears to be jumping from one major streamer’s action show to another, as he previously played a role in The Night Agent season 1. Del Negro is known for supporting parts in The Sopranos and, more recently, Mayor of Kingstown. Jones, Rudolph, and Herriman boast credits on King Ivory, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Justified, respectively. This multi-background crew has the potential to create an interesting ensemble in Neagley, rivaling Reacher’s team.
