The Now You See Me movies are leaving Netflix soon ahead of the third entry’s release. The scheduled sequel, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 14. As a Lionsgate movie, it’ll likely arrive on Starz before coming to Amazon Prime Video due to the studio’s deal with both streamers.
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t reunites Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the upcoming movie will see the Four Horsemen join forces with a new generation of illusionists to bring down a crime organization.
Now, Now You See Me and Now You See Me 2 will be leaving Netflix soon, with September 30 marking the last day for subscribers to watch them on the streaming service. Both movies came to the platform on June 1 ahead of the sequel’s release.
What This Means For Now You See Me Fans
Netflix is currently the only subscription-based streaming platform where fans can watch the two movies. On the other hand, both movies are available to rent or buy through VOD on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. This means that those who are interested in catching up with the series ahead of the third Now You See Me movie only have two weeks left to do so before the first two movies leave Netflix.
On the other hand, Lionsgate’s new agreement with Prime Video means that the streamer will be able to select premium titles from Lionsgate’s catalog, starting 2026, including John Wick, The Hunger Games, and Twilight. With Now You See Me: Now You Don’t included in the new deal, it’s very likely that Prime Video might become the new destination for the film series in the near future.
