Disney PhotoPass at Hollywood Studios began offering a unique holiday photo-op inside Sid Cahuenga’s One-of-a-Kind Tinseltown Photos on November 14. As part of the set, a rug appearing to be made from scraps of carpet from Muppet Vision 3D is situated beneath holiday decor.
Holiday Photo-Op at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The photo-op is located inside Sid Cahuenga’s One-of-a-Kind Tinseltown Photos, just to the left after scanning into Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The location is typically where guests can view, print, and purchase photoed moments experienced throughout their day.
The Holiday Photo Experience is available from 1:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. during regular park hours and during Disney Jollywood Nights.
The small room has been decorated like a festive living room with a vintage-style tree covered in tinsel, lights and ornaments. Below the tree, are wrapped gifts and a train set.
The walls are also covered in wrapped “frames.” However, the most interesting aspect of this photo experience is the carpet which guests walk across and pose over for their festive photos. The section of carpet appears to be made from the carpet previously inside the Muppet Vision 3D theater, now closed to make way for a new experience. The former Muppets Courtyard will become Monstropolis from Monsters, Inc.. which includes a show.
