VIRGINIA BEACH — Coastal Virginia Unitarian Universalist Church Racial Justice Task Force will present two events in celebration of Kwanzaa.
A Marketplace will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 28 at the church, located at 809 S. Military Highway.
Then at 3 p.m. Jan. 1, an Emancipation Jubilee will take place featuring guest speaker and scholar Colita Nichols Fairfax.
Both events are free, but reservations are encouraged.
