George and Amal Clooney might just be the best dressed couple at the Golden Globes!
The couple stepped out hand in hand while hitting the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet, arriving in classic looks that embodied old Hollywood glamour for star-studded evening on Sunday, Jan. 11.
Amal, 47, made her mark in a red Balmain gown with a romantic sweetheart neckline and elegant ruching . She added extra sparkle with Cartier diamond earrings and an 18k white gold tennis bracelet, and wore her hair down in relaxed waves.
George, 64, wore a black tuxedo by Giorgio Armani tailored to perfection. He paired it with his signature smile as he posed for photos opposite his wife before heading inside the award ceremony.
The Jay Kelly actor, who’s been married to Amal for 11 years, is nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the 2026 Golden Globes. He’s won four Golden Globe awards in his career to date, and this latest nod marks his 14th overall.
George is nominated for best actor alongside Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme, Leonardo DiCaprio for One Battle After Another, Ethan Hawke for Blue Moon, Lee Byung-hun for No Other Choice and Jesse Plemons for Bugonia.

In a recently published interview with the Los Angeles Times, the accomplished actor opened up about his relationship with Amal, and elaborated on his longstanding claim that he and his wife have never had an argument.
“Well, how old were you when you got married?” he asked, when the interviewer noted they had been married for 30 years and found George’s claim “hard to believe.”
“There’s a difference. I was 52. There’s a reason why insurance rates when you’re 16 to 25 are off the charts. It’s aggression. I had no intention of getting married again, but I fell madly in love with the person who changed that,” he said.
“We have kids. I didn’t want to have kids. Everything changed because I met this incredible person,” George said. “I’m in a much different place in life. I’m much more secure, and I am also less in the mood to win arguments. When you’re young, you’re trying to win everything.”
Clooney has stood by his claim that he and Amal have “never had an argument” as far back as a 2020 interview with PEOPLE and reiterated the claim in multiple interviews over the past year.
He and Amal share twins Alexander and Ella, 8.
