If you’re like us, you’re just trying to make it through the dead of winter — luckily, we’ve got some good TV and movies on our side.
This weekend, Jan. 31-Feb. 1, a few fan favorites are making their way back to the small screen. On Netflix, one of the streamer’s biggest hits of all time takes viewers back to the Regency era with a plethora of rakes and wards to boot.
Meanwhile, on the silver screen, Charli xcx pokes fun at herself with a mockumentary, while Rachel McAdams is stranded on a deserted island with her horrible boss (so at least we’re not her!).
And there’s more! Here’s a list of the nine best new movies and shows to watch this weekend and where to stream them.
Send Help
Being stranded on a tropical island isn’t sounding so bad right now while major parts of the country are buried under piles of snow and suffering single-digit temperatures. But stranded with a boss like Dylan O’Brien’s Bradley? We think we’ll pass.
When Linda (McAdams) and Bradley’s private plane crashes, leaving them as the only survivors, Bradley is in for a shock when the roles in their relationship are reversed — and Linda is in charge now in director Sam Raimi’s latest horror flick.
Send Help releases in theaters on Jan. 30.
The Moment
At this point, if you haven’t heard of Brat Summer, we don’t know how to help you — but Charli xcx does.
In this mockumentary of the phenomenon that came after she released her 2024 album Brat, Charli peels back the curtain of the making of the moment, from building her image to working with some eccentric industry professionals.
The Moment releases in theaters on Jan. 30.
Bridgerton season 4 part 1

Benedict has resigned himself to being a bachelor forever, but that all changes when he meets a mysterious woman in a silver gown at a masquerade ball. Unbeknownst to him, that woman is Sophie (Yerin Ha), a working class maid who doesn’t have a place in the Bridgertons’ high society. But love knows no bounds …

Shrinking season 3
In the first season of Shrinking, therapist Jimmy (Jason Segel) and his loved ones were dealing with grief as they processed the traumatic, sudden death of his wife in a drunk-driving accident. Then, in season 2, the gang learned to forgive, and now, they are finally getting to the final stage of their healing journey: moving forward.
As Jimmy deals with his daughter heading off to college, he looks to fill the void in his life with a potential relationship. Meanwhile, his boss and close friend, Paul (Harrison Ford), reckons with the time he has left at work amid his Parkinson’s diagnosis.
Watch the first episode of Shrinking season 3 on Apple TV.
Wonder Man
Marvel is turning meta — and we’re here for it. Aware of the superhero fatigue the world has been feeling, the comic studio has come up with an intriguing alternative in their latest: a show where a superhero wants to be anything but, and instead, is pursuing a career as an actor.
However, when an opportunity to play a superhero in a movie directed by an Oscar winner comes up, Simon (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) can’t pass it up. Naturally, more nefarious forces are at play that threaten his big break.
Watch Wonder Man on Disney+.
School Spirits season 3
Split River High is not your average high school — and its students are not your average teens. After Maddie (Peyton List) survives a near-death incident, she returns to school but suffers from terrifying visions.
Meanwhile, her classmates dive deeper into the mysteries surrounding their school, as the veil between the afterlife and reality draws thinner.
Watch the first three episodes of School Spirits season 3 on Paramount+.
The 68th Annual Grammy Awards
Music’s biggest night is finally upon us — and it’s sure to be a memorable one. Trevor Noah is back in the hosting role as the award show celebrates the best that music had to offer in 2025. Kendrick Lamar takes the lead with the most nominations of the night with nine, while Lady Gaga closely follows with seven.
Performances include a sneak peek into what will surely be Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars’ years as they take the Grammys stage, marking Bieber’s first return to the award show since 2022.
Watch the Grammys live on Sunday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.
Vanished
If we lost Sam Claflin, we too would want him back — and that is how Kaley Cuoco’s Alice feels when her boyfriend, Tom, disappears aboard a train on their way to a romantic getaway in Marseilles.
As she takes matters into her own hands to find Tom, she discovers an alarming web of lies and shocking secrets, leading her to question the man she thought she knew.
Watch the season premiere of Vanished on Feb. 1 on MGM+.
Wild Cards
Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) and Max (Vanessa Morgan) are back as a crime-fighting duo for season 3 of Wild Cards.
