Universal Studios Japan has revealed the exclusive food, merchandise, and entertainment guests can experience during the 25th anniversary celebration this year.
Universal Studios Japan’s 25th Anniversary
From Wednesday, March 4, 2026, through Tuesday, March 30, 2027, Universal Studios Japan will celebrate 25 years of park memories with exclusive food, merchandise, and entertainment offerings. The park will officially celebrate its 25th anniversary on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
The anniversary theme of “Discover U!!!” has two meanings:
Discover You: Meet a version of yourself you’ve never known
Discover USJ: Rediscover 25 years of entertainment history
A new 25th anniversary theme song, “Destiny Journeys” (written by Vaundy), will also play throughout the park.
25th Anniversary Food
Several restaurants in the park will feature new menu items for the anniversary celebration. These offerings include:
Baskin-Robbins churros flavored with iconic ice cream flavors
Tuna mayo corn bun shaped like a mayo bottle
Whisky-scented tiramisu
Nostalgic items will also return for guests to purchase. One item is a lunch box designed to look like Snoopy driving a school bus filled with various Peanuts characters. Another item is a cup decorated with Woody and Winnie Woodpecker and a Universal Studios Japan straw topper.
Coasters showcasing various opening-day Universal Studios Japan attractions like Jaws and E.T. will be included with items purchased from the anniversary celebration menu.
25th Anniversary Merchandise
Colorful new merchandise celebrating characters from franchises like Pokémon, Peanuts, Sanrio, and more will be available for purchase starting Monday, March 2, 2026. Featured items include:
Pikachu mascot plush with a shoulder strap
Mario and Super Nintendo World apparel
Universal Studios movies apparel
Peanuts, Minions, Sanrio, and Sesame Street plush
And more
Another merchandise collection will feature several park characters, including Woody Woodpecker, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, and more, on items like towels and packaged sweets.
The merchandise can be purchased at Rodeo Drive Souvenirs and Space Fantasy Station while supplies last. Guests can purchase up to five of each item per day.
“NO LIMIT! – Discover U!!!” Parade and Merchandise
The “NO LIMIT! – Discover U!!!” version of the parade will run from Wednesday, March 4, 2026, through Monday, January 11, 2027. The parade will feature:
Rule-free, high-energy dance time
25 Pikachus appearing together
New music: “The Power of U“
A special-edition flag and other merchandise themed to the parade will be available for purchase.
