Duke recently had their 10-game winning streak snapped by their long-standing rivals, the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Blue Devils held what looked like a commanding 41-29 lead at the half, but went cold and ended up losing 71-68. Duke star Cameron Boozer put together another excellent game, scoring 24 points to go with 11 rebounds and three assists, while Dame Sarr added 13 points and six assists. Boozer is averaging 23.3 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists in his freshman season.
Pitt continues to struggle, especially on offense, as they come into a brutal two-game stretch in which they face Duke and then have to travel to No. 11 North Carolina. The Panthers rank No. 300 in points per game (70.8), with a better-but-not-great 108.2 offensive rating (211th in NCAA). In their last game, they lost 86-67 at home to SMU, with Cameron Corhen leading the way, scoring 15 points. Barry Dunning Jr. added 12 points and seven rebounds for Pitt, who shot just 36.1% from the field as a team.
This is a great college basketball matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
