“Stranger Things” star Maya Hawke and popular folk singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson had themselves one heck of a Valentine’s Day.
And we know that because,according to People Magazine, the couple got married in a surprise ceremony.
The outlet said the actor’s famous parents — Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman — were on hand for the wedding along with “Stranger Things” castmates Natalie Dyer , Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Calabe McLaughlin, Sadie Sink and Joe Keery.
Hawke is 27 while Hutson is 35.
The outlet reported that Hutson first revealed that he and Hawk were engaged in an interview with SoCal Sound Session in 2025. The outlet said that two months later, Maya Hawke was photographed “flashing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.”
People reported that Hawke and Hutson met while recording music “years ago.”
And Hawke first opened up about the relation in a 2024 interview on the “Zach Sang Show.”
“It’s awesome,” she said. “I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It’s the best. They know you, and as a human being who has dated other people. They really know you as a person who has feelings … not just a piece of paper for them to project their image of perfect girlfriend onto.”
Hutson began his career as a member of The Driftwood Singers and spent three years with the group before embarking on a solo career in 2014.
He has released five studio albums with the last, “Paradise Pop. 10” coming in 2024. He has also released six extended plays.
