Millions of DISH Network subscribers could soon lose access to several major television networks.
The satellite provider is currently in contract negotiations with Gray Media. Unless a new agreement is reached by 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 10, DISH may drop dozens of local stations affiliated with major networks including ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.
Gray Media owns and operates 113 television stations around the country. The cities that would be impacted if Gray Media can’t reach a deal with DISH include Hartford, New York City, Binghamton and Springfield, Massachusetts.

One impacted local station, Wisconsin-based ABC affiliate WBAY, warned DISH users that the potential coverage disruption means they’d lose access to programs including “General Hospital,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and the Oscars, which are set to air on ABC on Sunday, March 15, at 7 p.m. ET.
ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC local affiliates also provide viewers with sports coverage, local news and weather updates, all of which many DISH users could lose access to if a new agreement isn’t reached in time.
Gray Media has encouraged DISH customers to express their concerns about the potential loss of coverage by contacting DISH directly at 1-800-333-3474. DISH Network subscribers can also use a TV antenna to continue accessing local channels for free, even in the event that a deal is not reached.
