By the end of the show’s first season, Jinx is on a path to lead and protect Zaun from its oppressor, Piltover, after seemingly permanently falling out with Vi. Arcane season 2, act 1 ends leaving fans only wanting more from the two additional acts before the show’s conclusion.
Now that Caitlyn is leading Piltover at Ambessa’s behest, Jinx is even more determined to defeat Piltover and their reign of terror over Zaun once and for all. As the conflict grows and Jinx, Vi, and Caitlyn reaffirm their positions, the second half of Arcane will surely be epic and riveting. Jinx is one of Purnell’s most complex roles, and when the show finally concludes on November 23, 2024, it will be bittersweet for her to leave the character behind.

In May 2024, Purnell was cast in the upcoming horror-comedy movie The Scurry, about which there is little more confirmed information. She will star alongside Rhys Ifans, known for his roles in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, The Amazing Spider-Man, and House of the Dragon. Paapa Essiedu and Antonia Thomas will also star alongside Purnell and Ifans, with the movie directed by Craig Roberts and written by Tim Telling. The Scurry reportedly revolves around an unlikely group of people who must band together to survive an onslaught of murderous squirrels.
