Amber Rose says she’s not a violent person.
Amber Rose reflected on her viral fight with Joseline Hernandez on the BET reality television series College Hill: Celebrity Edition over the weekend. Speaking about the incident ahead of her 41st birthday, Rose explained that she’s not a violent person, but Hernandez had “talked sh*t” about her on several occasions beforehand.
“I grew up in South Philly,” Rose began in a clip posted by The Neighborhood Talk on Sunday. “That’s no secret… The loudest ones are always the ones that– you know what, she went around. She talked sh*t about me. She said she’d beat me up on several platforms and I just stayed quiet. That’s just who I am. I don’t really care either way. I’m not a violent person. I never wanted to have to fight. I’ve never done reality TV. I wish her well. Honestly, I wish her and her husband well and her beautiful daughter.”

TMZ first leaked footage of Rose’s fight with Hernandez, earlier this year, after BET chose not the air the conflict in the original release of the show. BET explained its decision to not air the footage in a statement at the time. “We remain unwavering in our decision not to air the footage, as our network does not condone violence in any form,” the network wrote. “Furthermore, we hold the HBCU experience in the highest regard, recognizing its vital role in fostering Black excellence and pride within our community. In alignment with these values, we remain resolute in our decision to omit the scene.”
