Earlier today, a spokesperson said,
“We continually evaluate our fleet and our future aircraft requirements. We are talking to Boeing and Airbus about our narrowbody aircraft needs for the latter half of this decade and beyond.”
Currently, the oldest narrowbody aircraft in its fleet reached about 25 years old. The airline hopes to replace these older aircraft with next-generation alternatives, such as the Airbus A321neo or Boeing 737 MAX.
