When television personality Tayshia Adams gets ready to place her Super Bowl bets, she doesn’t analyze stats or research the teams. Instead, she studies the style of their jerseys.
“I just go for whoever has the best uniforms of the day,” said the former “Bachelorette,” who sat front row at Prabal Gurung wearing the designer’s bold blue trench and trousers. “I like to go for whoever looks better. I actually win a lot of my bets based off of that!”
Expert handicapper Adams said that she has won more than $700 over the last two years. “My dad loves football and my sister loves football, but I’m more into fashion. For not knowing anything about [the game,] I think it’s a big win!”
Gurung tapped several close friends to stalk his runway: “Westworld” writer-director Lisa Joy, “Pachinko” author Min Jin Lee and Sarita Choudhury of “And Just Like That” and “Homeland” fame. The actor paraded a dramatic hand-cut fringe dress with lavender boots and opera gloves.
3 “The Bachelorette” star Tayshia Adams dished to Alexa about her penchant for fashion and Super Bowl strategies at Gurung’s show.
Shearling and eel skin looks played a big part in the collection, which featured tactile finishes. Asymmetrical draped minidresses and floor-sweeping gowns in glossy fabrics added even more drama.

3 Gurung’s NYFW collection featured sumptuous silhouettes, gorgeous pops of color, and fabulous fabrics.
Gurung wrote in the show notes that he worked on the line while grieving a personal loss and sought “solace in the comfort of nostalgia.” He returned to Nepal, where he grew up, rediscovered his childhood diaries and remembered his treks in the mountains with loved ones.
“With this collection I honor my father, with whom I shared a complex relationship, yet now recognize his inherent goodness, and acknowledge his role as a supportive father figure.”
