“Omg this is so bittersweet because I know how excited and thrilled he would be to know that Beyonce has posted about him on her official website and brought attention to his being,” another friend, Tyrell Jackson, wrote on Facebook.
“He would not believe that he on Beyoncé’s internet right now!” posted Rosilyn Muñoz, a former schoolmate. “Dance in Heaven, O’Shae.”
Sibley, 28, a professional dancer who performed at Lincoln Center as part of an all-queer dance group, was with a group of friends when they pulled into the Mobil station at Coney Island Ave. and Avenue P in Midwood about 11 p.m. Saturday. They were all shirtless in swim trunks returning from a day at the beach.

According to a witness, they were confronted by a group of young men who identified themselves as Muslims and were especially offended by the small tight swimsuit one of Sibley’s friends was wearing.
After a quarrel exploded between the two groups, a teen stabbed Sibley in the torso. Sibley was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center but could not be saved.
The murder has sparked emotional responses from friends, colleagues, dance companies and even people who did not personally know Sibley.
The killing is being investigated as a hate crime and a 17-year-old has been identified by police as a person of interest but there have been no arrests made.
