The Hollywood stars were out in Montclair, as Billy Bob Thornton and other members of an upcoming Netflix movie recently dined at a restaurant in the township.
Halcyon, a fine dining eatery, posted a photo to its Instagram page on Feb. 9 of Thornton with owners Marshall Diebold and Ileana Pervizi-Diebold. The restaurant hosted a wrap party for the cast and crew after the end of shooting for the film “Somedays.”
“Big thanks to Panay Films for bringing such a great night together,” the post read.
“Somedays” features a cast led by Thornton that also includes Pamela Anderson and Ariana Greenblatt, according to the movie’s IMDb page. The plot involves a delivery driver with months to live who saves a “brilliant but troubled teenage girl.”
“The two form an unlikely, life-changing bond that teaches them both what it truly means to live,” the page reads.
Thornton has been spotted filming scenes for “Somedays” throughout New Jersey over the past month, including in Rahway and at a bowling alley in Garwood. The film does not yet have an announced release date.
Thornton, 70, is known for his roles in films such as “Armageddon,” “Bad Santa” and “Friday Night Lights.” He has also appeared in shows like “Goliath” and “Fargo” and currently stars in the Paramount+ series “Landman.”
