Deep Purple, Goo Goo Dolls to Headline India’s Bandland Festival

Rock bands Deep Purple and Goo Goo Dolls will headline the inaugural edition of Bandland, a new Indian music festival.
Acts at the event also include American indie rockers The War on Drugs and Amyl and The Sniffers from Australia. Indian acts performing at Bandland include Parikrama, Thermal and a Quarter, both of who join Deep Purple for the second time in the country after their supporting act with the band in 1994 and 2001, Parvaaz, The F16s, Aswekeepsearching, Skrat, Pacifist and The Earth Below.
Bandland is promoted and produced by BookMyShow Live, the events arm of India’s leading ticketing portal BookMyShow. The event is scheduled for Dec. 16 and 17 at the Embassy International Riding School Ground, Bengaluru.
