Donald Trump has had a rough couple of days when it comes to taking criticism.
The president was called a “pedophile protector” while visiting a Ford plant on Tuesday, and on Wednesday Newsweek reported that his star on Hollywood Walk of Fame has been vandalized.
The words “terrorist, pedophile, traitor, tyrant,” were scribbled across the star, according to the site which also shared a photo of it all.
Newsweek said it reached out to the White House for comment.
The outlet said the photo of the star was first uploaded to Reddit by a user named Chris who wrote, “It caught me off-guard. It was the remarks written about Trump that caused me to take the picture. I thought it was interesting and also kind of funny seeing all of that written over his star.”
All of this comes after Trump was caught on film flipping off a worker at the Ford factory and appearing to mouth the words, “(Expletive) you,” twice. That was in response to the worker, TJ Sabula, calling Trump a “pedophile protecter.
Sabula has since been suspended from his job, but a pair of GoFundMe’s set up for him have paid off big with one raising more than $439,000 and the other raising more than $292,000.
“Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung told USA Today that “a lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response.”
Sabula told The Washington Post he has “no regrets whatsoever.”
“I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often,” he said. “And when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity.”
