Dwayne Johnson adds former Sony Pictures Television alumni to his company
As reported by Deadline, Sony Pictures Television’s former Senior Vice President Scott Landsman has joined Seven Bucks Production. Landsman oversaw the comedy development of the production company’s various comedy shows such as Woke, Twisted Metal, and Good Times. He will be the company’s Head of Television. Along with Landsman, Verve’s first internally promoted female agent, Melissa Fried, will be joining the family too. She will be the Vice President of film development and production.
Fried started off her career as an entertainment attorney and later has been instrumental in the careers of various filmmakers such as Jac Schaeffer (WandaVision) and Meg LeFauve (Inside Out) to name a few. As Seven Bucks Productions’ co-owner Dany Garcia said, “This is an extremely exciting moment for Seven Bucks, as we expand our team with two top-quality executives”, she happens to have a lot of faith in the two new executives.
