It’s Homecoming Week at Augusta University with plenty of events planned leading up to Saturday’s games against Middle Georgia State University at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
Jaguar Mania begins at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Christenberry Fieldhouse, 3109 Wrightsboro Rd. The dance contest is a showcase for students, student organizations, and homecoming candidates.
On Thursday, a homecoming fireworks show begins at 7 p.m. at the Summerville Amphitheatre. A homecoming dance will be held from 8-10 p.m. on Friday in the JSAC Williams Ballroom on campus. There will be music, dancing, and the homecoming Duke and Duchess will be crowned.
On Saturday, the women’s game against Middle Georgia State University begins at 1:30 p.m. The men’s game will be the Homecoming Game and Senior Night. It will begin about 3:30 p.m.
The homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime of the men’s game. The 2026 Pass the Paw competition winners will also be announced. Game tickets are $10 and are free for faculty, staff, and students.
Also, during the game, there will be a homecoming party for alumni, faculty, staff, parents, students, and friends from 3-6 p.m. on Christenberry’s north mezzanine.
