The Hero World Challenge is the unofficial final event of the PGA Tour season. It is set to feature some of the biggest stars in golf. The entry list includes Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark, and 17 other pros who will be competing for the title. The 20 elite players will play at the Albany Golf Course for the $5 million purse.
Getting the chance to watch Scheffler in action and the return of many other stars on the course will excite a lot of fans. But how can they catch all the action live? Let’s find out.
The Hero World Challenge Broadcast Schedule

Although it is an unofficial event on the PGA Tour calendar, the Hero World Challenge is set to be one of the most exciting tournaments of the season. A limited field size of 20 ensures that all the action can be easily broadcast live.
The Hero World Challenge will be played from December 5-8, 2024. As per the NBC Sports website, the 4 round event will be broadcast on the Golf Channel, NBC, and Peacock. The entirety of the first and second rounds of the event will be live from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. E.T. on the Golf Channel.
The third and fourth rounds of the Hero World Challenge 2024 will have split broadcasts. The third round can be watched live from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. E.T. on the Golf Channel. Then the broadcast from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. E.T. will be switched to NBC and Peacock. Action from the fourth round on December 8th will be broadcast on the Golf Channel from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. E.T. Then it will be moved to NBC and Peacock for the remained of the final day from 1:30 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. E.T.

So there is no doubt we will get to see all of it when he defends his Hero World Challenge title this year. The 2023 champion will face tough competition from the likes of Team U.S. captain for the Ryder Cup; Keegan Bradley, world no. 5 who recently returned from an injury; Ludvig Åberg, 20-year-old rising star, Nick Dunlap, and many other pros. Unfortunately, fans won’t get to see Tiger Woods play as he has opted out of the tournament due to an injury.
Everyone will be even more motivated to bag the $1 million winner’s payout the tournament has to offer.
