Barryton Meal Site: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays at the Barryton Senior Building, 71 Northern Ave., Barryton.
Meals on Wheels: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Hot midday meals delivered to the door of homebound senior citizens in Mecosta County. Suggested donation: $3 for seniors, $5 for non-seniors. (Note: There will be no Meals on Wheels on Sept 20-25 due to kitchen renovations.)
Take and Reheat Meals: Frozen meals available Mondays-Fridays. Call 231-972-2884 to preorder.
Reminder: Mecosta County Activities Center no longer offers to go meals, but it still offers “Ready-Made Meals” for a fee of $6. Talk with your greeter or call Jessica or Beth at 231-972-2884 if you have questions.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP): Volunteers ages 55 and older are needed to use their life skills to help neighbors in need. RSVP places seniors in nonprofit agencies in Mecosta, Osceola and Lake counties. Call 231-796-4848 for more information.
Mecosta County COA: Volunteers needed to collect recycling at the Activity Center and take it to a recycling center. Interested individuals are asked to call Dawn or Jessica at 231-972-2884 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
