Team USA starting off strong, defeating Denmark 10-3 in women’s curling round-robin. Connecticut native Mac Forehand took silver and his first Olympics medal ever in the men’s freeski big air finals.
Germany swept the podium in two-man bobsled, with USA’s Joshua Williamson and Frankie Del Duca placing fourth. Sweden won the men’s hockey playoffs against Latvia and will face the U.S. in the quarterfinals tomorrow.
Day one of the women’s single figure skating event ended with Alysa Liu and Isabeau Levito in the top ten (third and eighth respectively), with Amber Glenn finishing 13th after popping a triple loop.

Norway adds to their medal total lead. Jens Luraas Oftebro won his second gold at the Milan Cortina Olympics while USA’s Niklas Malacininski finished 13th and Benjamin Loomis ended in 27th.
Team USA finishes 5th, earns best-ever biathlon finish in men’s relay. France captured the gold.
Team USA women’s curling defeats Denmark 10-3. They are now 5-2 in the round-robin with two games left to play.
Team USA settles for silver in the men’s speed skating team pursuit. Italy bested the U.S. to take the gold.
Team Japan wins bronze in speed skating women’s pursuit. Miho Takagi wins her third medal of the Milan Cortina Games and 11th Winter Olympics medal overall.
Mac Forehand won silver in the men’s freeski big air finals. Norway’s Tormod Frostad took gold in the final run of the night.
Germany won all three medals in two-man bobsled. Team USA’s Joshua Williamson and Frankie Del Duca came in fourth, 2.26 seconds behind the winning team.
The Blade Angels competed in the women’s single figure skating short program, where Alysa Liu finished third. Isabeau Levito made her Olympics debut and landed in eighth place, and Amber Glenn finished 13th.
Tema USA lost 7-5 to Italy in men’s curling, bringing their record to 4–4 heading into the final day of round‑robin play.
Sweden defeated Latvia 5-1 in men’s hockey. They will face Team USA in the quarterfinals on Feb. 18.
