Predicting WrestleMania 42 card after Royal Rumble results

The Royal Rumble was everything we thought it would be.
Now it’s time to get to WrestleMania.
The promotion always tips its hand a little bit at this show, and perhaps we’ve uncovered some matches for the two night show in April.
Here’s what we see happening with WWE WrestleMania weekend. Some of these will have to happen on Smackdown the Friday before. Too many stars. And I’m leaving a lot of great wrestlers out. The roster is so deep. They’ll also probably do a few multi person matches, which I didn’t do too often.
When is WrestleMania?
WrestleMania is April 18 and 19.
Where is WrestleMania?
WrestleMania will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer
This makes sense. Vaquer has been at odds with Judgment Day. Plus, she’s a baddie, so she’d want the champ who has been hobbled with an injury.
Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley
The other women’s championship match will see the Rhea challenge the only woman who can match her strength, Jade. I would have had Jade vs. Bianca Belair, but I’m not sure she’ll be ready to return.
Becky Lynch vs. AJ Lee
There’s too much there not to go back to this. This gets two stars who will have a great match on the card.
Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss
She threw her best friend out! I can’t believe Charlotte Flair did that!
Bella twins vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria
When the sisters eliminated Bayley and Lyra Valkyra, this match just made sense.
Iyo Sky vs. Asuka vs. Kairi Sane
I think it’s time to get Sane away from Asuka. This feud could do it.
Bron Breakker vs. Logan Paul
Logan Paul isn’t a nice guy. No way did he want Bron to win the Rumble. He was the masked man.
Gunther vs. Oba Femi
Gunther needs a huge match at WrestleMania. Oba Femi needs a huge match at WrestleMania. Throw these guys together, huge match at WrestleMania.
Ilja Dragunov vs. Sami Zayn
I think we’re a year away from having Sami Zayn win a heavyweight championship at WrestleMania, but he deserves a great match this year. Who would be better?
Usos vs. Austin Theory and Bronson Reed
These guys hate each other, and Paul Heyman likes championship opportunities.
Brock Lesnar vs. LA Knight
There’s no way Brock Lesnar is going to let it go that LA Knight cost him the Royal Rumble. LA Knight needs to be in a huge match, this is as big as you can get.
Dom Mysterio vs. Finn Balor
Two guys I wish I saw in the Royal Rumble will need to settle things at WrestleMania. I’m not sure who the good guy should be. I like them both as bad guys!
Damian Priest vs. Solo Sikoa
I’m not putting these two together just to give them something to do. This should be one of the biggest matches on he show. If you put these guys together, you know you’ll get a great effort and a great match. And they can keep you entertained for a few weeks doing interviews.
Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams
Randy Orton should be in the championship hunt. But if he’s not, he should be wrestling the future greats. Who wouldn’t watch that match?
Jacob Fatu vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre
The main event of one night features the hottest feud in the promotion, three guys who hate each other and want the same thing: the championship.
CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
Exactly 24 hours after Jacob Fatu wins gold, Roman Reigns does the same. The two reunite in the ring as the Bloodline take over WWE again.
