Shawn Levy has revealed the advice that iconic director Steven Spielberg gave him about making a successful movie. The Stranger Things executive producer just wrapped up a decade-long run on the hit Netflix series, and he also recently finished filming Star Wars: Starfighter.
The two filmmakers worked together in 2011 on Real Steel, which was directed by Levy and executive-produced by Spielberg. While on the set of the Hugh Jackman-starring sci-fi movie, the man who helmed such hits as Jaws, E.T. and Jurassic Park told Levy what it takes to create a film that audiences will gravitate towards.
