ABC’s latest crime drama High Potential returns with a new episode in November after taking a bit of a break, but it will be a while until the network drops more episodes. The police procedural series, created by Drew Goddard, revolves around Kaitlin Olson’s Morgan Gillory. Morgan, a nighttime cleaner for the LAPD, is considered a high potential intellectual since she has an IQ of 160. One night on the job, Morgan uses her skills to help the police on one of their cases, resulting in the LAPD hiring her as a consultant in Olson’s 93 percent Rotten Tomatoes procedural hit.
High Potential premiered on Tuesday, September 17, and since then, ABC has released six episodes total as of the writing of this article. As briefly mentioned above, the series has been a success among critics and has maintained steady ratings on the network (a difficult feat for any new TV show). Millions more have watched High Potential on Hulu and other digital streaming platforms, resulting in Olson’s detective comedy setting viewership records for ABC. Hopefully, its success will continue as High Potential season 1 heads into its second half.

Hulu Releases High Potential Episode 7 On Wednesday, At 3 AM ET
Following the ending of High Potential episode 6, “Hangover,” on Tuesday, October 29, the ABC crime drama went on a short two-week hiatus. The series returns with episode 7, “One of Us,” on Tuesday, November 12, at 10 PM ET. High Potential episode 7 is set to air following a two-hour live show of Dancing with the Stars season 33 (which is also the reality competition’s 500th episode).

As some may recall, High Potential episode 6 featured Morgan and the LAPD investigating the death of the CEO of a healthcare device company. However, the most interesting part of the hour came at the end when Morgan wrote her number on a door in the precinct for Tom, another janitor at the LAPD. Although many suspect High Potential is teasing a future romance between Morgan and Karadec, it looks like Kaitlin Olson’s character will have a different love interest in season 1.
What High Potential Episode 7 Is About
The Whole Precinct Is In Danger In High Potential Episode 7
Following High Potential episode 6, the next hour might feature Morgan dating Tom. However, according to episode 7’s description, Kaitlin Olson’s role will likely have other issues to deal with. The synopsis for “One of Us” reads:
“Morgan agrees to show Ava around the LAPD, but things quickly take a dangerous turn when the precinct is held hostage by the friends of a recently convicted man. Can Morgan and the detectives outsmart their captors and lead everyone to safety?”
It’s Bring Your Daughter to Work Day for Morgan in High Potential episode 7, but the special event couldn’t come at a worse time. As seen in the High Potential trailer, people who are convinced their convicted friend is innocent hold the precinct hostage to free him from prison. So, it’s up to Morgan, Karadec, and the other detectives to solve the case and get everyone (including Ava) out alive.
