“CBS Evening News with Tony Dokoupil” will be set in Detroit at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, part of the show’s ongoing cross-country tour.
CBS Detroit and affiliate stations throughout the state are set to air the national broadcast.

“CBS Evening News with Tony Dokoupil” will broadcast live from Detroit at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13. The Detroit stop comes as part of a cross-country tour.
According to a news release about the tour, the idea is for Dokoupil and the newscast to be “meeting people where they are — sharing the most urgent, important stories with Americans, rather than talking to them.”
