ASHEVILLE – Come rain or shine, the Asheville Mardi Gras season will march on with events planned through the weekend, Feb. 13-15, leading up to Mardi Gras Day, Feb. 17.
The National Weather Service’s forecast, as of Feb. 12, predicts a 90% chance of rain and a temperature high of 49 degrees on parade day, Feb. 15.
That won’t stop the Asheville Mardi Gras parade from rolling, which the organization confirmed is still slated to roll at 3:05 p.m. in the South Slope district downtown.
