Have you mapped out your 2025 content strategy yet?
This will help. This week, X has released its 2025 marketing calendar, which includes an overview of all the key dates and events throughout the year.
As you can see in this example, X’s content calendar has its own interactive UI, which enables you to tap on a specific date for more information on the relevant event/s.
You can also choose regional versions of the calendar to narrow down the listings, while you can also drill down by event type.
X has also included a “Download View” option so that you can get a basic listing of the key dates within whatever time frame you’re viewing.
It’s a handy overview of the key dates of note, which could help you create relevant, themed content throughout the year. I mean, it’s relatively basic, and it unfortunately doesn’t provide any insights on relative X discussion scale for each event.
Twitter used to provide this, via its events overview within its Ads Manager, but evidently, that’s now been retired in favor of a more stripped back approach from X, though you can also glean some insight into relative conversation trends via the X Data handle, which lists the engagement stats for many major events.
And it’s still a handy overview nonetheless, which could help to keep you across all of the relevant dates and events in your region to focus your campaigns.
You can check out X’s 2025 events calendar here, while for additional reference, Reddit has also published a similar (downloadable) events calendar.
