The Chicago Bulls will try to snap a three-game losing streak when they travel to play the Orlando Magic on Monday night.
The Bulls defense has been a problem in the past few weeks with Isaac Okoro dealing with a back injury. He’ll be out against the Magic.
Offense was an issue when Chicago lost 103-101 to the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. Coby White (illness) and Jalen Smith (hamstring) missed the contest. Both players will miss Monday night’s game.
Per Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan told reporters that White will miss the contest as he is dealing with tightness in his left calf. White thinks the injury is different than the one that caused him to miss the first few weeks of the season.
Chicago Bulls’ Coby White has another calf issue
Still, it’s a scary turn of events until he’s back on the court.
The Bulls didn’t appear to have the same chemistry as they did during the 6-1 start when White retuned in November. And with White missing more time, the team will continue to look under construction white Donovan figures out how to get the team to perform like it did in October.
Amid the injuries, Chicago is 9-10 before playing the Magic.
The Bulls have two winnable games after Monday night. They’ll host the 3-16 Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday before taking on the 4-16 Indiana Pacers at the United Center on Friday night.
Of course, we said the same thing last week before losing to the Pelicans, Hornets, and Pacers.
