The Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club (KLMC) is hosting its annual Spring Metal Rocks Show & Sale at the beginning of May — the perfect chance to find unique items and maybe even a gift for Mom!
The show will be held in conjunction with the annual Kingston Potters’ Guild show, and you’ll find KLMC in the Malting Tower on Level 3 at the Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning, 370 King St., Kingston.
“You’ll find unique items from over 20 artist/artisan members of the KLMC, including handcrafted jewelry, rocks and minerals and many more gift items for yourself or Mom, just in time for Mother’s Day, while also discovering the world of lapidary (cutting and polishing of stones) and metalsmithing techniques,” organizers detailed.
The event is free and will take place from May 1 to 4, 2025. Find more details on the KLMC website.

The Isabel Voices close out their season on Friday, May 2, 2025, with their final concert of the season, A Night on Broadway at the Isabel Bader Centre.
“This concert, back by popular demand, will showcase the very best of Broadway from the 1940s to today, with a dazzling display of singing and dancing, accompanied by our phenomenal 15-piece band,“ said Artistic Director Darrell Christie.
After selling out of regular tickets at the end of February, Dianna Bristol, Chair of The Isabel Voices, explained that the group decided to open the Choral Loft in response to overwhelming demand. These additional tickets are $15 each and offer a unique perspective to enjoy the show from above and behind the performers.
Details and tickets for A Night of Broadway are available through The Isabel Voices website.
