One of the most surprising additions to AEW has been Hologram, a masked luchador who has grabbed attention with his flashy presentation and high-flying maneuvers.
Hologram’s most recent bout was a two out of three falls match against The Beast Mortos at AEW WrestleDream.
However, Hologram has been missing ever since the Oct. 19 episode of AEW Collision.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Hologram is missing because of an ankle injury that has proven to be more serious than initially believed.
“Hologram hasn’t been seen on AEW programming in nearly two months since the match, with AEW sources telling Fightful Select he’s been out of action with an injury,” Fightful Select said. “The belief within the company is that it was a serious ankle injury that had him sidelined. We don’t have a timetable on his return as of yet.”

The ankle injury was originally confirmed by Hologram himself when he apologized to fans in a video on Facebook for missing his Oct. 27 match with GALLI Lucha Libre where he was set to defend the GALLI Indiscutible Title against The Beast Mortos.
“I would be with you all if it were up to me, but that is not the case per advice from the medics, so I will have to postpone that match against The Beast Mortos,” Hologram said, per Jacob Terrell of Sportskeeda.
“The slightly good news is that I won’t be out for that long; just about two weeks. I will try to heal up as soon as I can so I can bring a great spectacle for all of you and be a worthy champion. A hug from The Musketeer of The Air.”

Hologram began his professional career on the Mexican independent scene under the name Aramís.
Aramís began to work with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide starting in 2018. Since he was under a free contract, he was able to work in other independent promotions like Lucha Memes and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla among others.
Aramís signed with AEW in 2024 and soon took on the Hologram moniker. He made his in-ring debut on July 20, 2024 on AEW Collision.
During his time with AEW, Hologram would find himself teaming with Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Mark Briscoe, and Kyle O’Reilly. He would face opponents like Gringo Loco, Komander, and La Faccíon Ingonernable.

Hopefully, Hologram will be able to make a safe recovery and return to the ring sooner rather than later.
