French media group Banijay Group NV said it is in talks to merge its TV production business with rival All3Media Ltd., potentially creating an entertainment powerhouse with a string of hit shows on its roster.
Banijay, whose properties include drama Peaky Blinders and cooking show Masterchef, “entered into discussions” about a “potential combination” with Redbird IMI-owned All3Media, it said in a statement on Tuesday. There is no decision as yet, and no guarantee a transaction will take place, the company said.
