EXCLUSIVE: Gersh has signed the award-winning podcast studio Treefort Media for cross-departmental representation spanning Voice, Podcasting, and Television, as the company looks to push aggressively into film & TV with premium adaptations, short-form narrative franchises, and vertical microdramas.
Since 2018, Treefort has become a major player in narrative audio with 60+ series and partnerships across Audible, Amazon Music, Wondery, Disney Music, NBCU, Paramount, and UMG. The studio’s client roster extends beyond audio platforms to A-list brands including Netflix, ABC, Sony Pictures Television, Microsoft, Coinbase, and Focus Features for branded and companion series content.
Treefort’s awards haul includes Banff and Webby wins for scripted drama Moriarty; a Webby for Killing Hollywood: The Cotton Club Murder; and a Signal Award for Killer Psyche with Candice DeLong. Other marquee titles include Paul Giamatti’s Chinwag and investigative doc Collapse: Disaster in Surfside with the Miami Herald’s Pulitzer-winning team.
Treefort’s parallel venture StoryRabbit — a mobile audio app using AI-powered storytelling and human narration to turn the world around you into bite-sized, location-aware audio stories — won the 2025 Webby for Most Innovative + Experimental App.
The company’s founder and CEO Kelly Garner brings two decades of narrative content experience from the traditional TV trenches, having produced for CBS, Bravo, and NBC before ascending to executive roles at NBCUniversal and Syfy/USA.
