When Lainey Wilson’s new 2025 Whirlwind World Tour rolls into Minnesota later this year, it won’t just be the prairie winds stirring things up. With her soulful twang and unstoppable energy, she’s bound to leave the Land of 10,000 Lakes spinning in the best way possible.
While Lainey herself is a native of Baskin, Louisiana, she hasn’t been a stranger to country fans here in Minnesota. In fact, she was last here in the North Star State less than a year ago, when she performed at U.S. Bank Stadium last spring when Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show stopped here in the Bold North on April 6th, 2024.

In case you haven’t heard, Lainey Wilson is a pretty big deal these days. Just check out what she has accomplished in just the last year:
She scored her first-ever Grammy win for Best Country Album
She is the reigning Country Music Association (CMA) and Academy of Country Music (ACM) Entertainer of the Year
She’s one of the very few artists to ever win Country Album of The Year at the CMA and ACM Awards.
She was named Female Country Artist of The Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards
And, of course, she also snagged an appearance in the series finale of a little TV show you might have heard about– Paramount’s hugely popular hit show, Yellowstone– where she performed her hit song ‘Hang Tight Honey.’

So, yeah, it’s pretty big news that Lainey’s new 2025 Whirlwind World Tour will be making a stop here in the Gopher State in 2025. After performing several dates in Europe early this spring, she’ll be back in the U.S. in May.

Lainey is set to perform at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, along with special guests Muscadine Bloodline and Maddox Baston. Advance pre-sale tickets go on sale on Tuesday, February 4th, and Thursday, February 6th with general admission tickets on sale on Friday, February 7th.
