Polymarket, the company that allows users to place bets with cryptocurrency on real-world events, announced plans on Wednesday to open a new bar in the nation’s capital on Friday.
The company shared on X that it would bring a “Situation Room” to an yet-to-be announced location in D.C.
” Imagine a sports bar but just for situation monitoring — live X feeds, flight radar, Bloomberg terminals, and Polymarket screens,” the company wrote.
Images shared on social media showed a room with monitors tracking news and stats with a bar to the side.
It’s unclear if the venue will remain in the city long-term.
