In anticipation of the April 1 release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, promotional displays have appeared outside of Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood.

In front of the theater entrance, a large star photo display is now installed. The front of the star lights up, though only the right half was lit on our recent visit. Visitors can take photos inside or near the star.
Inside the star are images of several Mario characters against a vibrant galaxy-patterned design. Some of the characters shown are Mario, Luigi, Bowser Jr., Rosalina, and some of Rosalina’s Lumas.
The exterior of the cinema is also decorated with several promotional images for the upcoming film. There are giant posters covering the two corner windows and character images lining the entire bottom entrance.
Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the release of the new Mario movie with special treats like the Lemon-Blueberry Rosalina Cupcake, Berry Flavored Galaxy Popcorn, a limited-time Yoshi meet and greet, and more.
