One very special guest stars in Clairo’s new music video, “Terrapin,” released Thursday.
Clairo, who was raised in Carlisle, Massachusetts, first went viral at 19 when she uploaded her song “Pretty Girl” to YouTube.
Now, a song from the singer’s third album, “Charm,” which was nominated for a Grammy, has been made into a music video starring “Weird Al” Yankovic.
Ayo Edebiri, a Dorchester native who directed the music video, thanked the cast and crew on Instagram.
“Lots of love,” Edebiri wrote.
Yankovic, who rose to fame for his comedic songs that parody musicians, plays Clairo in the video. Decked out in a tuxedo, Yankovic lip-syncs the calming melody as background dancers spin around him.
